Job Summary

Cooks will perform a variety of duties including properly receiving and storing food, preparing nutrition meals, and maintain a clean and sanitized work area. Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements: Positive customer service skills and strong leadership abilities. Minimum of one-year previous food service in a health care setting preferred. Ability to adjust recipes to accommodate changing facility census to avoid over/under production. Ability to discern the difference in size and purpose of serving utensils. Understands standard portions and the importance of portion control. Knowledge of Minnesota Department of Health codes and regulations. Must have completed and be able to maintain Serve Safe certification. The ability to do basic math (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division.)

Wage

Depending on your work experience, you could earn a wage from $18.01 to $23.25 per hour.
