Job Summary
The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the therapy department, providing leadership and support to therapists and support staff. The supervisor will ensure efficient department workflows, high-quality patient care, and compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices. This role also involves direct patient care, managing caseloads, providing clinical oversight, mentoring staff, and maintaining communication between rehabilitation leadership and therapy teams to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements: Current license in Minnesota as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in therapy. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Team leadership or mentorship experience will be given consideration Must possess current BLS certification (American Heart Association) and/or obtain within three (3) months of hire. Skills: Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of evidence-based practices. Strong personal accountability. Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to navigate complex patient care issues and provide guidance to staff.
Wage
Depending on your work experience, you could earn an annual salary of $90,749 up to $131,587.
