Vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for children between the ages of 3 to 14, but using a car seat correctly could prevent many of the deaths and injuries. CMH has joined with the Cloquet Area Fire Department to help educate the public on the correct usage of child car seats. Child car seat safety clinics will be held each month during the year at various locations. No appointment is necessary and the clinics are free. Bring your child(ren), car seats, and vehicle to ensure proper fitting.
If you have any questions, please call Sarah Buhs with the Cloquet Area Fire District at 218-499-4258 or KaRee Lockling with Min No Aya Win Human Services Center at 218-878-2126.
