Living Well with Diabetes Workshop
6 Weekly, 2.5-hour sessions | Starts Feb 21, 2019

Living Well with Diabetes is a six-week program designed to help people with diabetes gain the confidence and motivation to better manage the challenges of living with diabetes.

In this workshop, participants will learn about the symptoms of diabetes, the prevention of complications and low blood sugars, and specific ways to deal with difficult emotions, stress management, healthy eating, the appropriate use of medication, and working more effectively with healthcare providers.

The workshop is open to anyone age 18+ living with diabetes or prediabetes, as well as their caregivers and family members.

Meeting dates: Thursdays (6 weekly, 2.5-hour sessions) February 21, 2019 to March 28, 2019, from 1-3:30pm at Community Memorial Hospital.

Cost: $30 or based on a sliding fee scale. No one will be turned away based on inability to pay.
