Job Summary
Working under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services, this position is responsible for the administrative support of the Imaging Services department. Duties include but are not limited to: 1. Schedule client appointments within the Imaging Department. Ensure that the proper exam information is communicated to the patient or ordering healthcare provider. 2. Secure the provider’s order and other required paperwork prior to the exam date. 3. Scan completed documents to HIM (medical records). Process incoming/outgoing PHI (images, documents, etc.). 4. Forward cardiac monitor and echocardiography reports to the ordering provider and to HIM in a timely fashion. 5. Assist with typing new or revised worksheets, policies, and procedures, etc. 6. Ensures that the office space is clean and orderly. Office supplies are stocked.
Requirements: High school graduate (or GED). Experience with computer systems is preferred. Candidates who have previous medical office experience or are graduates of a medical assistant program are also preferred.
Wage
Depending on your work experience, you could earn a wage of $17.68 to $23.27 per hour.Apply Now
