Job Summary

This EVS posting will typically be performing housekeeping duties but may be required to perform custodial duties depending on operational need. The EVS Worker is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including the following: Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, halls, cleaning and maintaining various floor surface areas, and distributing and tracking linens used per department. Based upon need, other duties may be assigned. Primary area of responsibility will be surgery/OR but will support other areas including but not limited to CMH Raiter FMC, CMH Specialty Clinic and inpatient services.

Requirements: High School diploma or GED required. Individual must be self-directed, must possess good communication skills, have the ability to work well in a team atmosphere, have the ability to learn and operate various equipment used in the performance of the duties, have the ability to learn and use a personal computer and appropriate software in the performance of the job duties.

Wage: Depending on your work experience, you could earn a wage from $16.17 to $21.11 per hour.
