Job Summary

This EVS posting will typically be performing custodial duties but may be required to perform housekeeping duties depending on operational need. Typical shifts include 530am-130pm, 130pm-930pm, 930pm-530am. Will typically work every other weekend, but as non-posted position may be required to work 2 out of 3 weekends. The custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility by performing the following: Cleaning and maintaining the various floor surfaces in the facility including but not exclusively locker rooms, conference rooms, classrooms, hallways, and other areas. Will support surgery by cleaning OR rooms after hours. Transportation of waste to dumpsters and collection areas, collecting and transporting dirty linen to collection area, keeping external walkways clear of snow and other debris. Restorative duties include waxing of floors and carpet extraction. Responsible for setting up classrooms and moving offices. Other duties as assigned. Maintains required dept. log sheets, insuring CMH safety measures.

Requirements: High School diploma or GED required. Individual must be self-directed, must possess good communication skills, have the ability to work well in a team atmosphere, have the ability to learn and operate various equipment used in the performance of the duties, have the ability to learn and use a personal computer and appropriate software in the performance of the job duties.

Wage: Depending on your work experience, you could earn a wage from $16.17 to $21.11 per hour.
