Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) is a circulatory problem that results from systemic atherosclerosis, or a buildup of plaque in the arteries. This blockage causes inflammation of the arteries, which reduces vital blood flow and oxygen supply to the body’s organs and extremities.
People with PAD may be asymptomatic or have intermittent claudication (IC), which is activity induced pain, aching or cramps of the calves, thighs or buttocks. This typically resolves after a few minutes of rest or within
5-10 minutes of sustained activity.
Peripheral Artery Disease Rehabilitation is adapted exercise to increase walking distance, restore function, and reduce pain.

Two symptoms of Parkinson's disease are speech/voice difficulties and a loss of motor skills. Your voice gets quieter and your movements are slower and smaller in size, making everyday activities a challenge.
Our rehabilitation team is trained and certified in the LSVT BIG & LOUD programs to help you gain improvements in speech and mobility.
Participation in each program takes four weeks and includes 16 individualized, one hour sessions (four times a week for four weeks). Patients may participate in both programs at the same time.
