Telehealth

Convenient virtual visits with telehealth

Telehealth visits allow you to talk with a primary care provider from a location that’s convenient for you. Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

  • A smart-phone (iPhone or Android) with video and audio capabilities
  • A reliable internet connection
  • A quiet space to conduct your appointment

How do I join my telehealth appointment?

CMH Raiter Family Clinic providers use a software called Doximity to conduct telehealth appointments. Doximity is used and trusted by thousands of healthcare professionals. You can trust that the personal health information shared during your appointment will be secure and private.

A few minutes before your appointment begins, you’ll receive a text message with a link to your appointment. You’ll be asked a series of prompts to set up your camera and audio. Click “Allow” to allow Doximity to use your camera and microphone. Watch our step-by-step guide on how to join your telehealth appointment.

Can I schedule a telehealth appointment for any reason?
Telehealth appointments are available for minor health issues or concerns, such as a medication check-in. No matter your reason for a visit, our staff will work with you to determine what type of visit will best suit your unique needs. Patients who are new to CMH Raiter Family Clinic will have an in-person visit for their first appointment. After meeting with their new provider, any subsequent visits may be conducted via telehealth.

What if I don’t own a smartphone?

Can I attend my telehealth visit from anywhere?
You must be located within the state of Minnesota at the time of your visit. When deciding where to conduct your visit, make sure you choose a space that is quiet, private, and distraction free.

Are telehealth visits available for all CMH appointments?
