How often do I need to come to wound care?

The length of treatment will depend on your individual needs. Most patients typically come to wound care once a week.

Where are you located?

Advanced Wound Care is located inside CMH on Ground Floor. Please use the entrance on the backside of the hospital under the blue awning.

Should I come to wound care for a diabetic wound?

Yes! 85% of diabetes related amputations are preceded by a foot ulcer. After amputation, 55% of patients require an amputation on the second leg within 2-3 years. Proper wound care can help prevent amputation.
