Laboratory Services at the Cloquet Hospital

Laboratory Services

At CMH and CMH Raiter Family Clinic, our team of dedicated laboratory (lab) professionals offers a wide range of testing within a warm and friendly environment.

Whether you’re at the clinic for a routine visit or in the emergency room, CMH’s labs support our medical providers’ ability to detect, treat, and monitor patient disease processes effectively.

Quality is our priority

Our labs are regulated to ensure accuracy, safety, and the highest quality of care for patients. The hospital laboratory maintains a high complexity testing model and CMH Raiter Family Clinic maintains a moderate complexity testing model.

Both labs are regulated by:

  • Accreditation from The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) program under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
  • Accreditation by American Association of Blood Banks (AABB)
  • Daily Quality Control of all testing systems to ensure accurate patient results
  • Annual proficiency and competency for all technical staff
  • A board-certified pathologist oversees both labs
