Debbie finds it rewarding to help patients find or renew their voice, as this has a profound impact on their participation within their communities. Her goal is to collaborate with patients to achieve their personal objectives, making the process enjoyable and empowering. She believes that fostering a supportive and engaging environment allows patients to feel confident as they work toward their communication goals.

More about Debbie
Debbie’s journey into speech-language pathology began in college when she took a linguistics course that revealed this career was a perfect fit for her. She interned at CMH during graduate school and was drawn to the people and culture of the organization. Now, she enjoys working in a field that aligns with her passion for helping others. Outside of work, she loves traveling and spending quality time with her husband and two young children, creating lasting memories together.
