The Quality Improvement (QI) Director is responsible for development, coordination and interpretation of organizational quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, and compliance performance. Provides quality improvement training; facilitates teams to develop performance measures, data collection methods, data analysis and selection of improvement strategies. Works with the Medical Director of Quality to coordinate and review the functions of the Quality and Patient Safety Council and works with the Chief of Staff (in all departments) to coordinate and oversee the Peer Review functions. The QI Director oversees the Population Health Nurses to ensure the process for Chronic Care Management, Annual Wellness Visits, and Transition of Care follows the CMS guidelines and that this work is well documented in the EMR. This is done to provide good follow through communication to the providers and ensure proper billing. Responsible for the management and leadership of the financial related operations through effective coordination of all financial services required by CMH. Establish and/or recommend policies, procedures, continuous quality improvement activities and major economic objectives to the CEO and Board of Directors.
Education and/or Experience: A graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess current licensure by the Minnesota Board of Nursing preferred. BSN or BAN is desirable. Three years of experience in Quality Improvement in a Health Care setting is preferred. Two years of experience in Risk Management and a basic understanding of Corporate Compliance is preferred.
Wage: Depending on your work experience, you could earn an annual salary of up to $111,353.
