The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) practices both autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of health providers on the interprofessional team to deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services. The CRNA cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management.
Requirements: Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program required; Two (2) years of anesthesia care in acute setting experience preferred. Valid state RN License (must meet education requirement(s) for state licensure); Valid state APRN Recognition (must meet education requirement (s) for state recognition and obtain within six (6) months of hire); Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA); Current Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association or obtain within six (6) months of hire); Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification or obtain within six (6) months of hire); National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Taxonomy code required at time of hire.
Wage: Determined per contract.
