As a Radiology Technologist, you work directly under the Radiologist and the Director of Imaging. You will interact with a diverse range of patients. You will explain the imaging procedures, assist, and position patients and the equipment correctly to obtain quality images that will assist in diagnosis and/or treatment while maintaining a safe environment. Radiology Technologist operate and maintain highly specialized equipment including the OR C-arm, portable imaging unit, the placement of cardiac monitors and perform exams such as EKGs, GI & Orthopedic. Possibility to cross train in CT, Clinic Imaging services and Mammography.
Requirements: Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) • A minimum of one (1) year of radiologic technologist experience preferred • In-depth knowledge of radiology protocols and imaging equipment • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills
