Typical shifts could be: 4:30am-1pm, 5:30am-2pm, 6am-2:30pm, 8:30am-5pm, 2pm-10:30pm and 9:30pm-5:30am. The position may be asked to work repeated weekends (2 out of every 3), depending on operational need. The Environmental Service Worker is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including the following: Cleans the various floor surfaces in the facility, cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, halls, and other areas. Maintaining the cleanliness of the external walkways and distributing linens as well as tracking linens used per department and other duties as assigned
Requirements: High School diploma or GED required. Individuals must be self-directed, must possess good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team atmosphere, have the ability to learn and operate various equipment used in the performance of the duties, have the ability to learn and use a personal computer and appropriate software in the performance of the job duties.
