Manage and coordinate operational functions of the Patient Services and Financial Counselors staff including Scheduling Coordinators, Patient Access Reps, and Financial Counselors. Develop, implement and manage efficient and effective process and procedures to maximize cash flow. Manage and oversee policies, objectives and initiatives of the organization’s front-end revenue cycle activities while maintaining and improving internal and external customer relations.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a relevant field preferred. A solid understanding of; supervisory/leadership and the healthcare billing industry, with three years related experience and/or training. Knowledge of Insurance changes. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with tactful, courteous customer relations; must have working knowledge of Microsoft PC applications (Outlook, Word, Excel); demonstrated problem solving in routine and urgent situations; competent written and verbal communication skills, be capable of effectively interacting with all levels of staff; must have basic mathematical comprehension and be accurate in basic mathematical calculations. May require occasional travel for continuing education to stay abreast of industry changes.
