The Staff Educator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for facility-wide staff training and development, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices. This role collaborates with leadership to assess training needs, enhance clinical competencies, and support professional growth across the organization.
Requirements: Education and Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess current licensure by the Minnesota Board of Nursing. Prior experience with teaching formally or informally as a preceptor or mentor preferred. Demonstrates ability to solve problems through effective communication and understanding. Ability to work collaboratively. ACLS, TNCC and PALS certifications are preferred. Further helpful knowledge, skills and abilities: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Power Point, Excel), ensuring efficiency and compatibility of presentation materials. Must have strong grammar, verbal and public speaking skills, ensuring the effective delivery of adult education and training material. Demonstrates high degree of interpersonal skills, demonstrating tact, courtesy and positive approach methods. Possesses the ability to organize, prioritize and work independently so that project deadlines are met timely. Demonstrates effective teaching and facilitating skills through a variety of instructional methodologies; focus on principles of adult education and adult learning theory in the delivery of education and training programs.
