Laboratory Services

CMH’s laboratories offer a wide range of testing within a warm and friendly environment.

In-house testing ranges from simple screening tests such as Cholesterol levels to highly advanced molecular tests, such as Gastrointestinal and Respiratory PCR panels. All testing supports our medical providers’ ability to detect, treat and monitor patient disease processes.

Quality is our priority

Our labs undergo annual regulatory inspections. The hospital laboratory maintains a high complexity testing mode and CMH Raiter Family Clinic maintains a moderate complexity testing model.

Both labs are regulated by:

• Accreditation from The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) program under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
• Accreditation by American Association of Blood Banks (AABB)
• Daily Quality Control of all testing systems to ensure accurate patient results
• Annual proficiency and competency for all technical staff

A board-certified Pathologist oversees both laboratories.

• Urinalysis
• Hemoglobin and other blood parameters
• Electrolytes and organ enzymes such as liver and kidney

Services include:

• DOT and Non-DOT drug screen collections
• DOT Breath Alcohol testing
• Outreach blood collection
