Our surgical specialties

CMH’s surgical specialties include:

Inpatient vs outpatient surgery

As a hospital, CMH offers the benefit of both outpatient (sometimes called ‘day’ surgery) and inpatient surgery. Depending on your procedure and the type of monitoring you require during recovery, your surgeon will recommend you go home the same day or be admitted.

If you do require an overnight stay, you’ll be moved to our inpatient unit, which features single-bed, spacious rooms with private adjoining bathrooms.

CMH offers all of the services required for a successful surgery, including:

  • On-site imaging, including x-ray, CT, MRI, EKG, ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, echocardiograms, and mammography.
  • Access to pre-op physical screenings. Please call CMH Raiter Family Clinic at 218-879-1271 to schedule.
  • Post-surgery rehabilitative care (including physical, speech, and occupational therapies).
